[Xymon] upgrade from BigBrother to Xymon

Dear Xymon-Team

I have some question about the Xymon Server.

Can I upgrade from a BigBrother Server (Windows Server 2003) to a Xymon Server (UNIX)?

Works Xymon on Windows Operating System (newer than Windows Server 2003)?

Should I installing a ubuntu server version or will be ok when i installing ubuntu desktop version?
