[Xymon] solaris client --> linux server... no updates

If it's of any help, I built a Solaris 10 SPARC Xymon 4.3.17 client and it works fine with our Linux server.

its built and run in local mode

But nothing ever ends up on the server to be displayed. The route to the server on port 1984 is open.
