Can your Hobbit client read the file in question?

A similar entry is also there in client-local.cfg file as well as listed below.
[hp-ux] log:/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log:102400
Is there anything that i have missed, as i do not receive an alert?
Any suggestion at the earliest would be really really helpful, thanks in advance.
