Hi,
"temperature" is an hobbit original supported test name, who
expects data from deadcat "temperature" script, this would justify for no thrend graph, but not for a crash.
I've sent the command you mentioned bellow to my hobbitd server
(4.2-beta-20060605.2), and it worked as I expected, it added a status column for "temperature" with the " - temperature ok ... BLBLA" text, but no graph. BUT did NOT crash also.
Can u pass dbg on the core file, see at:
http://www.hswn.dk/hobbit/help/known-issues.html#bugreport
Regards
Werner

Hi,
I'm trying to implement a script to read temperature data from a primergy via snmp. Sending the results via bin/bb I get:
- a core file in BBHOME/tmp
- RED on the bbgen page "- Program crashed Fatal signal caught!"
- hobbitlaunch.log reports "Task bbdisplay terminated by signal 6"
I can reproduce the error with: /bin/bb localhost "status cati-b2.temperature green Wed Aug 2 17:39:50 CEST 2006 - temperature ok
BLABLA"
Using the service name "temperature" it crashes. Using other service names both, my script and the test works fine.
My Hobbit version is 4.2-beta-20060605.
Any ideas?
