No, because the hobbit client does not tells the server if something is wrong : it barely sends the output of commands, and the server qualifies the alerts. That's very powerful.
We use several Hobbit clients with our BB server. It does work. I have a very short writeup on how it is set up in case anyone is interested, but all the necessary information is included in the documentation.
