[hobbit] alert custom script question

Hello all! I'm wondering if anyone has a way to configure hobbit's alerting to only notify based on conditions.

Is there a way to script a notification only to send based on the status of another host?

For example: If I have a router that goes down, I do not want it to notify me for all the devices connected behind it as well.
