"ports" netstat output too long

Hi,

Hobbit is reporting the following error message from time to time:

Oversize status msg from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:ports truncated (n=296523, limit=262144)

What is the preferred way to handle this? Can I simply add "| head -n xyz" to the netstat command or will this falsify some statistics in Hobbit?
