[Xymon] does xymon have any option to monitor a java app

Not currently. I've been wanting to look at this for some time, and the "jmxtrans" tool seems like it could used to bridge between Xymon and JMX, but there isn't anything in Xymon right now that can do it.

Don't know if anyone else have been cooking up some extension scripts?

I contributed this at Xymonton, we use it a lot for Tomcat, JBoss and Weblogic, I havent had much feedback so I have no idea whether others have found it useful :-
