Hmmm. I didn't get that impression from the introductory documentation (ie. install.html & hobbit-config.html)...
Okay, next question -- what does this mean?

I see this in a number of the hobbit log files.

I think the "bbd" test is only intended for the Hobbit server.

Subject: [hobbit] Help with Hobbit/Xymon (v4.2.2) setup
I'm new to Hobbit/Xymon and I've run into something that should
be obvious, but I'm missing it. Any help appreciated. I've setup Hobbit on the server and on a couple of clients. As far as I've gone, everything seems to be working *except* "bbd" on the clients come up as Red. In debugging it, I think that the Xymon server is getting a "Connection refused" from the clients when it tries to connect to the bbd port (1984) to run the bbd test. Although I see hobbitlaunch running on the clients, I don't see anything running on the client that would specifically listen to port 1984 -- is that done by the hobbitlaunch program? How can I debug this to determine what the problem is? David Masterson
