Right. It thinks you're trying to drop a host named host.umdnj.edu.login. You want bin/bb localhost "drop host.umdnj.edu login"

I don't think you have the '.' between the host and the test.
And you are doing this on the server not the machine right?

Hi Xymoners,
I have tried the following thrice now:
bin/bb localhost "drop host.umdnj.edu.login"
...login is the name of my post test. I can see the files in the data directory:
./hist/host,umdnj,edu.login ./histlogs/host_umdnj_edu/login
...anyone have any advice here? Do I have to call it by some other name because I've named my POST test "login"? I tried dropping "post" also -- no dice.
Or have I found a bug maybe?
