Changing the disk1 RRD to store bytes instead of kilobytes breaks compatibility with existing Xymon RRD files - I am not going to do that. Besides, I really cannot see the benefit of storing disk usage down to the byte-level.
A benefit could be that the scaling of the graphs created by RRD would be standard, without the need to introduce a variable in the graph definition whose value is 1024 times the recorded value.
