Hobbit Protocol

Hi All

I am interested in developing some specialized services for Hobbit (i.e monitoring M$ SQL servers). Where can I get some documentation on how to communicate with the hobbit server directly? Or in other words how do I get the hobbit protocol specification? Obviously if I am successful I would make this available to all.
