[Xymon] difference between apt-get install hobbit-client and xymon-client

Just older. If you don't see any bugs/issues in the clients, then you are fine.

I do the same thing. Since I haven't been successful on building an rpm for the newest, and I just don't care enough about the old Solaris machines to make the effort.

I installed most of my servers with hobbit-client instead of xymon-client. What are the disadvantages of using hobbit-client ? I am running XYMON 4.3.5 .
