I have chaged it to

LIBS= -lm -lrscg -lscg $(LIB_VOLMGT) -lparanoia -ldeflt -lschily $(SCSILIB) $(EXTRALIB) $(LIB_SOCKET)

Try adding the "-lm" to the RRDLIBS setting in the top-level Makefile.
