[Xymon] Help with monitoring processes on Linux

Hi I have a client machine that I am trying to monitor which is running RHEL 4.9 and has glibc version 2.3.4. When I try to run 'runclient.sh', it complains that it requires glibc 2.5 or better. I am not able to get glibc 2.5 or better from Red Hat. Can you please let me know how to overcome this issue?
