They were ghost clients. I meant to respond earlier today but got busy. For some reason, prior to dropping the tests Xymon wanted just the hostname, but then afterwards it wanted the FQDN. It was odd.

My first thought is to either check the log for the test (assuming it's an external) because it is not sending data, or to check the ghost clients (though it sounds like the same client has other tests showing and that would generally cause all tests to show up under ghosts unless your external script is really badly written).

Okay, what if I know for certain that it has received information regarding that test. ( It shows up in another test ).

The simple answer is that the test column will start to show once the server receives a report for that test.

A simple question I hope you guys can answer. I used the xymoncmd command to drop a test on version 4.3.5, but now I need to add the test back. Adding the test back to hosts.cfg has not appeared to be fruitful, nor has just restarting Xymon. Is there something similar to the -drop- command for xymoncmd? I didn't find many help files on the utility.
