Hi, hmm we have nearly the same Linux running but yours seems to have an other version of "head". I think i have an other solution to handle this Problem
change query=$( $HEAD --bytes="$CONTENT_LENGTH" )
in read -n $CONTENT_LENGTH query
on my styem both version running good but eventually is the 2. version more compatible.
thx Stefan

usage: head [-n #] [-#] [filename...]
query=$( $HEAD --bytes="$CONTENT_LENGTH" )
--bytes is NOT a standard head looks like gnu.
