[hobbit] alerts won't stop

Sounds like your "drop" command did not work. You might try it again.

As a "cheap fix" you could create an alert rule for these hosts that does nothing -- that *might* work.

I have removed some machines from hobbit, taken all mention of

them from the configuration files and issued the "drop" command using bb. I am still getting notified of their "purple" status every day, and it has been several weeks since I removed them from Hobbit. How can I stop these alerts from being generated?
