you would want to change that to: "status+85 sam.example.com.eggs green I do so like green eggs and ham. Thank you, thank you, thank you Sam"
If you use +1h, then any delay could show up as transient purples, so best to give yourself a little cushion.

Hi,
you need to extend the default liftime (30 mins) of yor status message by specifiying staus+LIFETIME.
In your case something like status+1h
