I don't believe so based on the 'man hobbit-alerts.cfg/alerts.cfg' page. I was only answering your question in terms of the DURATION option. I don't see where you can define aliases for your email addresses.
GROUP=groupname Rule matching an alert by the group name. Groupnames are assigned to a status via the GROUP setting in the analysis.cfg file.
I don't believe that's what you want.
I've always just used the mail inline, i.e
HOST=%something.* COLOR=RED SERVICE=disk MAIL dba at host.com,someoneelse at somewhere.com FORMAT=TEXT DURATION>120

MAIL DBA at domain.name<mailto:DBA at domain.name> FORMAT=TEXT COLOR=RED DURATION>120
Should alert the DBA team after it's been red for 120 mins.

Okay,
I Added this to the hobbit-alerts.cfg
## GROUP Definitions
GROUP=UNIX_TEAM
MAIL Team at domain.name<mailto:Team at domain.name> FORMAT=TEXT
GROUP=DBA
MAIL DBA at domain.name<mailto:DBA at domain.name> FORMAT=TEXT
Added this for cat to hobbit-clients.cfg
HOST=cat
DISK /export/depot 100 101
DISK /mnt/testA GROUP=UNIX_TEAM
DISK /mnt/testB GROUP=DBA
Now, I want to alert the first group upon the alert going red, then alert the second team after two hours.
How do I accomplish this.
