Well in lieu of a yum repo:

for H in server{1..100}.example.com do scp hobbit-client-4.2.3-1.x86_64.rpm ${H}:/var/tmp ssh ${H} " rpm -Uhv /var/tmp/hobbit-client-4.2.3-1.x86_64.rpm && sed -i 's/^HOBBITSERVERS=\"\"/HOBBITSERVERS=\"hobbit.example.com\"/' && chkconfig hobbit-client on && service hobbit-client start " done

Just seems easier to me ... but YMMV
