I’m having a hard time determining what configuration file to modify for the client that runs on the server itself. Basically, I want to start monitoring PROCs. After some hunting (there are too many configuration files with the words “client” and “local”), I thought I found the proper file “hobbits-client*s*.cfg and added the following:
HOST=thishost.domain.com
PROC beremote 1
you could watch the status channel to see what the name of the host as sent
by the client running on your hobbit server using either cat' or hobbitd_capture'
bbcmd hobbitd_channel --channel=status hobbitd_capture --hosts=<hostname> --tests=procs
-OR-
bbcmd hobbitd_channel --channel=status cat
(wonder if I could have used “localhost”)
Yet, I’m still not getting PROC monitoring
(Oh, I’m still on hobbit 4.2)
