I seemed to have resolved this problem.
I removed the noconn from the first entry and now the "conn" seems to be working ok and I am not getting any duplicate entries in bbtest.

I a trying to put the same host name in several locations in my bb-hosts file. I went to the archives and found the following:
Put all of your host definitions on one host entry, and let the others just be with "noconn".
1.2.3.4 host1 # noconn ssh http smtp name:emailRelay 0.0.0.0 host1 # noconn
Oh, and the "http" stuff really should be a full URL.
Regards, Henrik
I have the following:
128.110.103.183 mailrelay.math.purdue.edu # noconn prefer \ ssh smtp \TRENDS:vmstat:vmstat2|vmstat3|vmstat6|vmstat7|vmstat8|vmstat9|vmstat0,
netstat:netstat0|netstat1|netstat2|netstat3,
!clock,!bbgen,!bbtest,!hobbitd,!temperature,!who,!uptime,!timediffAnd in another location I have
000.000.000.000 mailrelay.math.purdue.edu # noconn
With noconn in both entries all things are green but the "conn" column is not updated.
If I remove noconn from the first entry then bbtest goes yellow with duplicate entries.
Is there a way to have my cake and eat it to? How can I get a "conn" test and still have multiple host entries. What am I missing here.
Thanks
Robert
