If you have solaris 10, you should have gcc in either /usr/sfw/bin or /opt/sfw/bin. These directories may just not be in your path.

Is there a precompiled version of the hobbit_client_ available
for SunOS 5.10.
If not, how can I build the client only and what prerequisites
do I need. Can I use Sun's own C compiler/linker or do I have to install gcc and all the libraries the complete hobbit source archive needs to make server and client
Thank you for help
