[Xymon] xymond messages

I've been getting messages like this:

Data flooding from xxx.xxx.94.22, closing connection

in my xymond log. The IP address is my main xymon server. I am running xymonproxy on this server on port 1984, sending data both to port 1985 on the same server where xymond is listening and to my test/development box. Any idea what is causing it and/or how to fix it?
