Im running two scripts from deadcat.net -- bb-omsa-raid.sh and openmanage.sh.

Decided to implement these on a number of servers, and im seeing a few issues:

1. On PE2850s the openmanage script is showing all the information. However the Raid monitor lists the disks and the controllers but reports "no Controllers Found"

2. On PE1850 the openmanage script only picks up "Health" I assume this is picking up the CHASSIS health rather than mainsystem health? Is there a version for blades or do I go edit the script?

Ah - disregard this. This is the case for the windows version. The linux is ok... You might need some editing depending on the controller, OMSA and firmware you have. Usually it's a type case issue.

Have you tried devmon with the dell-poweredge template?

#1 After a bit more investigation, it turns out that it IS picking up the RAID info the 2850s. However as these have a SCSI card in them with nothing connected, its marking them as red. How do I get the script to ignore the SCSI card? Controller 1 is being listed as: LSI Logic PCI-X Ultra320 SCSI Host Adapter

#2 Whats weird is when I run "omreport chassis" on the balde and the 2850s I get the same output. However it seems the blades are only sending half the data.

I've tried to run both services. However either bbproxy was not forwarding alarms (when hobbitd was running too) or the web pages on the proxy where not updated.

Can you give me a short notice on how to configure bbproxy/hobbitd in order to have a normal Hobbit server running which in addition sends all messages to another Hobbit server? Do I have to set different port numbers for hobbitd and bbproxy? I've already tried to set bbproxy to 1985 which resulted in the problem described above.
