Because of some illness and lack of time I haven't tested Xymon for a while. Today I installed Xymon 4.4.0-1 from 2009-10-27. I get no Menu on the different servicepages and no bb-footer. You could have a look at the link below.

Not clear on what you feel you're missing. Your main view looks essentially similar to mine at home, running 4.4.0-1, and drilling in randomly I don't see anything broken.
The Xymon running now is after I copied bb_footer to hostsvc_footer

Oh. bb_footer. I was looking for bb-footer as you originally posted and saw no trace of it. bb_footer should be a soft-link, as with most of the footers. Mind you, I'm running an rpm-based installation, not built from source.

I am running Xymon on HP-UX 11.11 and alwaus build it from source. You could have a look on any other page like Enable/Disable under Administration.
There you have an example.
