seems to be something with the hobbit client 4.2. could it be? i need to configure some more ? in my older clients it works . but in all my hobbit 4.2 clients doesn´t work. on this 4.2 clients i´m running some ext scripts and it works correctly , so there´s nothing to do with ghosts clients. by the other hand ports proc msg and files era clear. they show information but says No files checked or no proc checked etc... i cant find nothing more. help please! good luck!!

it is important that you write the rules in revers order: individual rules first, global rules last in the config file.
have you checked the man page: http://www.hswn.dk/hobbit/help/manpages/

You need to make configuration in /hobbit/server/etc/hobbit-client.cfg and /hobbit/server/etc/client-local.cfg
You can see how it is done in the demo site: http://www.hswn.dk/hobbit-cgi/viewconf.sh?clientlocal http://www.hswn.dk/hobbit-cgi/viewconf.sh?client
