If the bb client will work in my SunOSes, I'll raise PRs for them. I don't think you can buy hobbit, Anyone have a compiled hobbit/bb client for SunOS4.1.4?
If your organization is willing to paid for precompiled hb binary, you may try TWW.
or
if you care to learn TWW's sb and pb tools, you crank out hb binary from
TWW's package source from here
ftp://support.thewrittenword.com/dists/8.1/src/hobbit-client-4.2.0 ftp://support.thewrittenword.com/dists/8.1/src/hobbit-server-4.2.0
tj
I can send you solaris 6 and solaris 8 binary packages if you still need them. Yes,please send them to me....I'm having a hard time with Sun studio =)

Currently downloading Sun Studio...nice to hear that it is free. But I have no idea how to run the bb client binaries(i never touched bb). If you don't mind, can you send me your bb client binaries and small list of how-tos (namely configure and run).
Beware that if you make any commercial benefit out of the bb client, you have to pay a licence to Quest software. It's not free software.
