Found a 2.3 version in the mailing lists archives, but lines are wrapped around, so it's hard to get a working version. Could send a new version to the list or upload it to deadcat? The Shire is down it seems...

Thanks for the link... the bb-raid.sh script for Solaris metadevices does not seem to be there however....
