Removing the history info for trends fixed my purple issue. The maint.pl lists and 'ALL' may still be a problem, it does occur in both Firefox and IE. It can be alleviated by changing views. Typically we monitor bb2.html, but if we switch to the Main view and try enable/disable, it typically works, this only occurred since RC6, I think. Ditto - Using downtime and works great - but unfortunately puts entire box in downtime mode. I would also like to just disable procs and maybe the external oradb column - that is all that goes down on most of my boxes during their downtime cycle. With downtime making all of the tests be in "downtime" mode, we would never know if something else happened to the box during this critical timeframe. So I finally switched over from using the bb mail ack script to using hobbit-mailack and it works great. One question is the syntax for specifying different durations for the ack. I checked the man page but it only discusses the setup. What is the syntax for feeding hobbit a delay different from the default? Thanks

With maint.pl and at I created a script which after some viing was placed in the int.d directory of leopg7. So now when I shutdown the server also all tests are disabled. I also created another script where I changed all disable to enable. Something I think would be nice is to able to specify the DOWNTIME for individual tests. I have a several hosts where I am not able to use the DOWNTIME feature because it would prevent alerts from going out on all tests when I am only wanting to disable "procs". I am running 4.0 on solaris 9. I did a hobbit.sh stop Then a rm data/hist/*.trends And restarted hobbit It has cleared up the problem for now but it has only been 10 mins or so.
