Hi Henrik Is it possible to add a feature to be able to create report in Excel format? My director was wondering if that is possible. Looking forward to migrate to hobbit when it releases. Alerts problems

I am having a bit of trouble with the alerts. I have the following rule: HOST=% MAIL kevin at domain.com COLOR=red EXSERVICE=http RECOVERED My understanding is that this should work as follows: For ALL hosts: Mail kevin at domain.com if, the alert is RED only and if the service is other than http and mail when it recovers What actually happens is: I get ALL alerts, for ALL colors, and ALL services What did I do wrong? While some of the groups would allow for a regex to describe its members, there are quite a few sizable groups where this isn't feasible. Is there any way hobbit could support the bbwarnsetup.cfg file style of host groups? Or possibly the HOST (and MAIL arguments for that matter) could accept shell commands somehow? For example: HOST=`/usr/local/bin/bbgroup netapps` MAIL `cat oncall.txt` (And bbgroup would assemple a comma seperated list of netapp hosts.) vmstat graphing with CPU io wait

My old BB setup has a customized vmstat-larrd.pl script which allows for variations in vmstat output based on the version of procps. In other words, it compensates for the fact that RHEL3 and old red hat linux systems have vmstat output who's column ordering doesn't match up. So I'd like to bring some of those vmstat changes into my new hobbit setup, most notably the ability to plot CPU wait for IO (wa) alongside user, system & idle time, but poking around in hobbitgraph.cfg doesn't reveal an easy way to do it. Any tips on how I might accomplish this? Tom

[hobbit] bbhostgrep Segmentation fault

I get a "Segmentation fault" error every time I try to run bbhostgrep. If I run it without any arguments, it gives me the usage message. Running it w/ --version gives me "bbhostgrep version 4.0-beta6". Any ideas?
