And with Kibana reporting is easy. How it work ? Simple : With capture of status message (xymond_channel --channel=status /home/xymon/server/ext/capture.sh ) script encode status message in json and send as document in elasticSearch. I downloaded the source rpm and installed it. The spec file for building the RPMs contains this: %if %{without trunk} %if 0%{?rhel} <= 7 Requires: ntp %endif %endif So, yeah, it builds into the binary RPMs the requirement to pull in ntp. I'm not sure if that can be made into a conditional, to require ntp OR chrony. Both servers where running dovecot. I wrote an extension in perl using IO::Socket::SSL (and the same local openssl) to monitor the server offerng tls 1.3 and all is fine with it. For some strange reason, I can monitor a https web servers (running nginx or apache) offering TLS 1.3 without this issue but not imaps/pop3s. show RRD Graph based on daily values

I want to display a graph with values that change only once a day. The check is a clientside script in which te sslstatus of a website is calculated I translate the values (T, U, F, E, D, C, B, A-, A and A+) into a percentage default=0, E=25, D=50, C=75, B=80 and A-=90 A=95 and A+=100 when I run the testsscript every 5 minutes the graph will appear nice. but when I run the script once or twice a day nothing wil appear. Is it possible to get a graph without writing a script that checks every 5 minutes?

Normally a critical message stays "red" for 30 minutes. I have had no issues with this in using Xymon/Hobbit/BB. I just added some new log alerts for 6 hosts though and they are clearing after 5 minutes for some reason. I can't figure out why. Anyone point me in the right direction? [image: image.png] Thanks!

Hi, Is there any recommendations on different ulimit and sysctl.conf settings for the newest Xymon version? (RH 7.9 for me) Back in the day when I installed Xymon first, I remember setting both to something non-standard, but I cant find any documentation about it now - and the archive-link in "install.html": http://www.xymon.com/archive/2005/08/msg00183.html - doesnt work and I cant find the post on the archive. What OS tweaks do I need to make, to make Xymon happy these days? Regards, Carl
