I had the same problem upgrading from a hobbit 4.2.0 beta to 4.2.0 stable when I upgraded the machine to debian 5.0. That was the first place I checked, but no luck. The Hobbit server is all by itself, no includes, no pages, no wildcards. The URL http://hobbitserver/hobbit-cgi/bb-hostsvc.sh?HOST=hobbitserver&SERVICE=procs uses hobbitsvc.cgi and the man page states: "hobbitsvc.cgi is a CGI program to present a Hobbit status log in HTML form" . I went through all the logs and deleted "procs" for hobbitserver, but no luck. I also looked to see if somehow the logs had the same inode, no luck. Anyone can suggest how do I modify the hobbitgraph.c file to add timezone along with time? Currently it does not show the timezone. I am assuming modifying the C file and recompile is the only way to achieve this. In the picture below there are numerous 'cron' and 'sshd' processes showing up for this particular host (the hobbitserver). The problem is, all these processes and in particular the ones in error (red) don't belong on this server. I have tried to locate where these phantom processes are coming from, searching hist, histlog, hostdata directories but I'm stuck. The Client Data file does not have any of these processes. Clients loosing connection trough ssh-tunnels

Hi, I have a xymon server to monitor clients in a DMZ using ssh-tunnels. The connection is up and the clients start reporting but after about 15 minutes they stop reporting. the ssh tunnel is up but the clients go purple. Could you please help? Hi, I have recently migrated our Big Brother monitoring to Xymon 4.2.3. Works great, less filling. :) Anyway, I'm trying to configure the disk alerts to send e-mails to the Oracle DBA team for their oracle disk mounts. I remember reading (yes, I do RTFM) that Xymon allows for granularity of disk alerts based on mount points. But, I can't seem to find the correct syntax to do this. I have the mail archive link but my searches have not proved helpful. If you just give me the right keyword search for the mail archive, I can do the work. Fixing zoom in graphs for Firefox 3.0.18

Hi, For a long time I was unable to use the nifty zoom feature in the Hobbit/XYMon graphs. The problem is that dragging the mouse invokes the browser image drag-and-drop functionality, preventing the zoom.js machinery to do its work. (So this is a different problem from what I read about in several threads, with people getting a blue box instead of a working zoom image). Today I finally decided to look into the problem, and found a fix. I though I would post it, in case it should be helpful to others. monitoring linux machines

We are switching machines from a windows environment to a linux environment. We are currently able to get data for uptime, who, and netstat from our windows clients no problem but our linux machines running Centos 5.3 x_64 are not showing data for uptime, who, and netstat. The client is running on each linux machine but the data is not being received by the server. Has anyone I had an issue like this.
