How does Xymon save state between server reboots?

Hi, All... Just curious: does anyone know how Xymon retains host / service state information between reboots of the Xymon server? I mean, if you have Host_A with services in various states, and then you bounce the Xymon server, does the server re-acquire all the services / states for Host_A from scratch, or does it retain any state information from somewhere on disk? Xymon4.3.10 Menus

Under 4.3.0-0.beta2, the menus were located and easy to add your own area under /home/xymon/server/www/menu In the menu.css menu_items.js menu.js and menuy_tpl.js files. How do you add your own menu location like: Additional Menus ? I placed all the items that I added under this main menu heading with some going multiple levels down. Xymon report start time outside of range of requested report

Hello there. I'm just a user of our Xymon system not an admin. We monitor about 800+ systems and on a few when I ask to see the report from 1-12-2012 to 1-31-2012 there are few machine reporting the CONN and VMWARE test being for 1-28-2013 which is the current date. We are looking to compile SLA uptime stats and I do no have confidence in the fact that these numbers are outside of the given range I'm asking for. Thanks Robert

SSL Error after upgrading to Fedora 18

Hi all, I just upgraded to Fedora 18, and now servers that have SSL signed by our internal CA is failing. The http test simply shows "SSL error" meanwhile our public (GoDaddy) certs aren't causing issues. Is there a log file I can peer into to find out why I'm getting these error messages all of a sudden? analysis.cfg ignoring file existence

Is there a way to check an MTIME on a file, AND ignore its existence. In other words, I don't care if the file exists or not, but I want to be alerted if the file does exists AND was last modified over 24 hours ago.

it's possible to have one rrd file with a multiple graph at the output ? i explain. i created a script for monitoring couchbase, at the output of the script i get a lot of information like total_connections:, total_items:, get_hits: etc... and i would want to get it on multiple graph. This is possible

TS - Other web pages and cgi scripts ?

I have multiple custom web pages on 4.3.0.0-beta2. The .html files are in the /var/www/html directory The associated cgi-bin files are in /var/www/cgi-bin/kw/xymon directory or /var/www/cgi-bin directory If I place a simple test web page env.html that just lists the environment variables that apache know about in my new Xymon 4.3.10 server, I cannot get the screen to come up. If I place the web page in: /home/xymon/server/www directory, (linked it) the screen will come up just fine. But the env.sh and proccgi.c files are not available to the script so the interaction will not work. 'proccgi.c' program is called in the env.sh script and it gathers the POST variables and passed them to your script env.sh as FORM_variable1 ... FORM_variable2, etc. If I place the cgi-bin program and script in the /home/xymon/cgi-bin directory, the web page cannot find the cgi script env.sh. Is there a way to modify the httpd.conf to allow it to see both locations for web pages and for cgi-bin script? This has brought my porting of the system to a halt! :=( All assistance is greatly appreciated! I know that there must be some simple way to modify the apache configs files to allow this to happen, but I have not found it yet. If anyone wants to try the simple script, I can send them: env.html env.sh and proccgi.c I use this simple script for testing first. It works just fine on my older Xymon servers and my Asterisk VoIP (PiaF) servers, etc. All are CentOS servers.
