Ports showing up as red

Good day, I have configured xymon to monitor ports 123.161.162. These appear at the bottom of the netstat output and are displaying red with the error that xymon found none of these ports. Is there a limit to the length of file that xymon checks or is there another reason for this? Thank you in advance. Thank You, Leon

System clock is 153 seconds off

We're getting an alert on one of our systems that the system clock is 153 seconds off yet when we compare the system's time with the Xymon server's time they're functionally identical. Both systems are synched with NTP via chronyd and we're seeing less than 0.00001 seconds difference when we check chrony's status. Good day, Does anyone have a copy of the xymon.html for Ubuntu 14.04? Or perhaps know how I can get it? I reinstalled xymon on Ubuntu and it disappeared. Thank You, Leon

Unable to sync content from terabithia.org

Hi I'm trying to sync the Xymon repos on terabithia.org locally. I had this working when http was accepted but since its gone https, I just see 502 messages in my squid logs: 1559864923.715 585 192.168.0.90 TCP_TUNNEL/502 0 CONNECT terabithia.org:443 - FIRSTUP_PARENT/192.168.0.10 - I've tried wget and curl with the same result: https_proxy=https://192.168.0.12:3128 wget -r --no-parent --no-check-certificate https://terabithia.org/rpms/xymon/el6/ 192.168.0.90 is the local content mirror (RHEL7, fully patched) 192.168.0.10 is our upstream proxy (BlueCoat, managed by another group) 192.168.0.12 is our local proxy (Squid on RHEL7, fully patched) (Not our real IP's) Any ideas? Thanks

Test for all but one host

I want to set up a SVC test for all hosts where CLASS=powershell, except for one host. Is there a clean way to do this or will I have to set up a HOST=... entry for every system? For example, I wanted to do this: CLASS=powershell SVC bbagent status=started However, one and only one system doesn't run bbagent. So is there some kind of "cancel the default" override I can use? Or will I have to do this: HOST=server1 SVC bbagent status=started HOST=server3 SVC bbagent status=started Thanks in advance! Ubuntu Xymon server - local netstat graph issue

I have a 4.3.28 server running on Ubuntu 18.04 server. The graphs for the local client look OK except for the "TCP statistics" graph, where I get IN packets graphed, but the OUT and RETRANS are all NaN. netstat graph Graph for a different host (a CentOS 6 server with a -4.3.10 client) looks fine, all statistics graphed. I've tried deleting the netstat.rrd for the host, and restarting Xymon server, but doesn't help. Is there something else I can try? Thanks in advance.

linux xymon-client memory labels

I test many client machines. For Windows clients I use the Powershell client, and for Linux I use the 'xymon-client' that comes from the distro package sources. I've noticed that the Memory readings displayed on the server's webpage are flip-flopped for Windows and Linux. Windows client Ram stick usage is called 'Real/Physical', but Linux client Ram stick usage is called 'Actual/Virtual'. Can anyone tell me where/what in the linux xymon-client to flip so the results sent to the server will be displayed the same as Windows? It would be nice if the Ram readings from both Win and Linux had consistent names. Thanks, Kris Springer
