Check your hobbitserver.cfg against the newly created one. Do you wish to Debug? Line: 503 Error: 'menu' is undefined" I assume this is some sort of javascript error. The menu is working fine for everything else, including the Ack section. Make sure you installed the latest files hobbit-4.0-RC1/hobbitd/webfiles/maint_{header,footer} in your ~hobbit/server/web/ directory. If you upgraded, then the old files are NOT overwritten with the new ones, you need to copy them by hand. Same goes for the menu-files in hobbit-4.0-RC1/hobbitd/wwwfiles/menu/ that should be copied to ~hobbit/server/www/menu/ The maint.pl distributed with Hobbit should include the menu. netstat unknown OS?

Hi, I've noticed these lines in my larrd-status.log: 2005-02-03 10:28:23 Host 'im20' reports netstat for an unknown OS for various hosts. These hosts just say 'larrd is accumulating netstat' on the netstat page. They're running Solaris x86. Results from uname -a: SunOS im20 5.8 Generic_108529-19 i86pc i386 i86pc What do I need to fix to get netstat graphs working for these hosts? Henrik, Great job! The DURATION seems to be working very well, and the page.log is outputting exactly what you would expect. We had a network outage that caused several hosts to go unreachable, providing me with a nice test. Fantastic work! Thanks a million! ~ David

[hobbit] Alert Rules - DURATION not working

As you can see from the out put below a DURATION of '15m' translates to 653760. Regardless, we cannot get DURATION to work under any circumstance. I sent some early e-mails with some logging output. Either we have something configured wrong or DURATION is broken? All we would like is a rather simple rule. Any host that is red for longer than 15 minutes send an e-mail/page, repeat every 8 hours (shift change). The last rule is just a hack to get around DURATION not working for us. Perhaps I do not understand the config rules?
