I tried looking at this but cannot find out where this setting is. Does anyone know where it could be. Is 4.2.0 Hobbitfetch more stable than snapshot?

I'm currently running a recent snapshot (4.3.0-20061124) and having lots of problems with hobbitfetch randomly crashing 10+ times per day. Needless to say this is making my graphs look terrible. On the other hand, I have another installation of Hobbit that is running 4.2.0 (plus the all-in-one patch), that uses hobbitfetch for hundreds of hosts without any problems. So my question is, will downgrading my current install to 4.2.0 fix my Hobbitfetch problems? I did a diff on the 2 hobbitfetch.c versions and there is a slight difference - looks like the newer version has some added code to handle IP settings in the pulldata tag, but it doesnt look like anything that would cause crashes. I know Henrik is aware of this problem and I'm sure he will fix it when he can. I'm looking for a temporary band-aid until then though :)

help with freemem on Aix43

Hi all, I'm having some trouble with the freemem on an aix4.3 client and need some help. First I didn't install the OS, so vmstat in not installed. large system time change freezes hobbit client

Hi, I noticed that a large clock change tends to stop the hobbit client from sending status messages to the server. For example, if a system boots with the wrong time, I get cpu alerts, I go restart ntpd on it, then I won't get anymore status until I restart hobbit-client on that system... Is clientlaunch trying to keep track of the current time to determine when to launch hobbit-client.sh, instead of just sleeping 5 minutes ( default ) in between each invocations ? Thanks -Dan

bbproxy and "hobbitdboard"

Hi Henrik on one of my servers, I'm running Hobbit 4.1.2p1 configured like this : bbproxy listens on TCP 1984 and forwards to hobbitd, which listens on TCP 1985 on the same server. I'm doing this because without the bbproxy running, I got from times to times "purple" statuses telling me "CAN'T CONNECT TO bbd SERVER @ xx.xx.xx.xx". Everything works fine but the "hobbitdboad" command, which does not reply anything. Is it possible to use this command through a bbproxy, or has it been corrected in Hobbit 4.2.0 ?
