rrd graph not showing in trends

Finally kind of figured out this fancy rrd graphing business (oh man is it sweet). Problem though, I can't seem to get my graph to populate in the trends column - it will populate in it's own column (should the client use the status channel). I am unabled to obtain apache server-status network test. a) 'apache' is included as a test at bb-hosts 7x.xx.xx.x7 server line. b) Apache server reports server-status to hobbit server: root at hobbit# wget -O - http://7x.xx.xx.x7/server-status?auto --01:44:57-- http://7x.xx.xx.x7/server-status?auto => `-' Connecting to 7x.xx.xx.xx7:80... connected. Hobbit Newbie question

Hi, We currently have a big brother install (very old version), and are looking to upgrade it, we are looking at upgrading with hobbit, but one of the things we have going is we have another group that has their own BB implementration and they send us a BB feed, we were wondering if Hobbit can take BB data? Restricting checks reported by the clients

Hi all, Is there a recommended way to block unwanted client checks, like BBGHOSTS but on checks not hostnames? I would like to limit new checks generated by the server admins to those approved by the monitoring team. I thought about adding some filter code myself, but maybe someone has done that before? [Hobbit] Try to do an instant http test

Hello, i have a problem on a http test status with a machine, i try to do an instant test with bbtest-net(3) with the follow command line : bbtest-net --checkresponse --no-ares --debug msgipd01 . I would like know if I make a mistake to execute my test? I use NIS resolution and debug option, the output is http://rafb.net/p/lCL9Tj76.html (use rafb because ezmlm reject too huge mail more than 3kb) When I checked my display, I don't have any information about http metric for my machine and more over I don't have any log. The test will must contact a http server using tomcat, it's a js2ee web application and it seems reachable because return a HTTP 302 status code. Anyone have an idea? I have lighttpd serving hobbit web pages. Graphs but no text ?

Hello Hobbits, I have Hobbit server 4.2.0 running and generating graphs. The graphs show data but have no text. Not axis or labels or any text. I upgraded my rrdtool to 1.2.23 but have the same result. As a test I generated a graph "manually" :-) using rrdtool and the text shows up fine. I am scratching my head on this one. Hi all, Hope you can help me. Want to make accessible to clients the reports in hobbit i.e. trend graphs and availability report via exterior output like a readable document e.g. pdf (would be the best option). These would mostly be pictures of the data output. How could this be done? Do you have an example? Is this possible? How is the data stored and manipulated? Would there be a need for programming to make this happen? Been going through the documentation and find it all more than a bit overwhelming. The big question is how/where is the data kept and how is it retrieved and displayed. All help would be greatly appreciated. Hope im not spamming you all with this noob post.
