What is the historical reason for the xymon client pidfile to be named clientlaunch.`hostname`.pid ? Can that be overridden somehow? It makes it hard to do anything with the pidfile if the name is not static. We often override the hostname reported back to Xymon with --hostname=foo and parsing that out if --hostname exists is going to be a nightmare Thanks

Henrik, If this is already there I'm not seeing it. I think it would be beneficial to have a link under the "Xymon Project" menu that points to the stable "Changes" folder so folks can see without downloading the latest source what changes have been committed. thoughts? =G=

Problem with "xymon download filename"

Hi, I have 4.3.13 and recently encountered 'too many open files' after a while using the download command. This came up before in relation to 4.3.5 and there was a patch posted here :- http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.monitoring.hobbit/28865 but the patch is missing so I cannot tell if it made it into the subsequent releases. Can anyone confirm? Thanks -- Andy

Good Morning, Has anyone updated/modified the DHCP plugin for xymon, Currently we are using the following ext script to monitor our DHCP servers on 2008 however we seem to be running into issues on 2012 Thanks in advance.
