Good day all Can someone please send links to example custom scripts for windows server. We are mostly a Linux shop but have a few Windows servers. They are monitored on xymon and it is currently a mix of BBwin and winpsclients. My google skills has let me down as I could not find examples except for bash script examples.. Does BBwin or winpsclient support groovy script or can I only use VBscript? Non-Green View

I'm looking for an easy way to list each non-green item and amount of time it has been that color. We have 50 different users and are looking for an easier way to track what servers need attention. The non-green view is massive for us and hovering over each icon to see the time it has been that color is a little tedious. If there isn't a view I can run, is there a command I can run to query the status and time of a non-green so I can display it in a separate page? Ideally it would look something like this: ServerA | disk | red | 43 days ServerB | memory | yellow | 10 days Currently we're parsing the history log and displaying based on that but it leaves a lot to be desired.

How to verify DIR content with wildcards on a Windows host?

Hi everyone, I have to check if a directory on a windows host contains files with a specific extension. If it was a Unix/Linux host, i just have to write something like that i guess : client-local.cfg : file:`find /path/mydir/*.tst` analysis.cfg : FILE %(/path/mydir/*.tst) noexist But how to do it for a Windows host? Is this possible ? I tried this for example : client-local.cfg : file:`cmd /c "dir /b /s C:\path\mydir\*.tst"` or file:`cmd /c "dir /b /s \path\mydir\*.tst"` analysis.cfg : FILE "%C:\path\mydir\*.tst" noexist But it doesn't work :( Regards, Anaïs

SNMP monitoring on Windows 2012R2 and above

Hi all We're using DEVMON with Xymon to monitor a bunch of hosts, mostly Linux with some Windows. Windows 2008R2 works fine but I've found that the 2012R2 (don't have any 2012) hosts don't work. For example, for the RAID test I get: Missing repeater data for primary OID logDrvIndex Missing repeater data for primary OID phyDrvIndex When running snmpwalk manually, I get snmpwalk -v2c -c hpscada srv2012 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.3.1.1.2 CPQHOST-MIB::compaq.3.2.3.1.1.2 = No more variables left in this MIB View (It is past the end of the MIB tree) When doing the same on a 2008R2 server I get: snmpwalk -v2c -c hpscada srv2008 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.2.3.1.1.2 CPQHOST-MIB::compaq.3.2.3.1.1.2.0.1 = INTEGER: 1 Any ideas on this?
