There's a very good extension in deadcat for *nix systems, however the windows counterpart (openmanage.cmd) is old and doesn't work with newer revisions of OMSA (at least 5x). I recently discovered a system that had a disk fail however the old script did not detect the condition. It used to be that a check on the controller would detect problems with the array, however today you need to do separate checks. Trying to rewrite it, I'd figure I ask if anyone has made a new one and/or ported the *nix version (bb-omsa-raid.sh). TIA. -- °(((=((===°°°(((===========================================

This is almost what I am looking for. I was able to add in a line to this file under reports....(code snip) ... ['Reports', null, null, ... ['Mgmt Server', 'https://url here'] ], ... And clicking on this link takes me to the new URL. Does anyone know if I can have it pop up into a new window, as opposed to using the hobbit window? I would like to add a link to another monitoring system on our hobbit front page. One would think that this is possible, but the documentation doesn't really make it clear to me as to where/how this can be done. Can someone point me in the right direction? Dave -- David S. Hello, I've a problem with reporting. I explain : I want to make a report with all my hosts testing disks in a table like this : Host 1 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted Summary(Total\Avail) XXXX xxxx xxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx XXXX xxxx xxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx Host 2 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted Summary(Total\Avail) XXXX xxxx xxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx XXXX xxxx xxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx But I don't know how can i do! I don't know how can i get differents disk's informations. I want just to get informations, then format is simple. I tested bb-gen but i've got this error : " No BBACKS! Test goes purple randomly

Hiya I have got a custom script that goes purple randomly for less than 5 seconds. Could this be because hobbit is not getting a response in the interval it is expecting a response (in this case 30 min). I have a few time-consuming custom scripts that run and my suspicion is that they don't all complete in an allotted time so hobbit assumes there is no response. Any input on this? tests loaded time

Hi all, I just finished adding about 100 hosts and suddenly the category under BBTEST called "Tests loaded shot up dramatically. It used to be hundredths of a second and now it is taking 35 seconds. This has now pushed my time total for all tests to be almost tripled! What exactly "tests" are being loaded? Hi, bbgen_ASN1_UTCTIME in bbnet/contest.c doesn't like SSL certificates that are valid longer than 2050. The passed tm->data string will include the full year then and fail to be parsed. Keeping configuration files in sync

We frequently add and modify configuration changes such as cpu / disk thresholds, adding processes to be watched and adding additional external checks. How do you recommend keeping these configurations synchronized? Can hobbit run on a nfs mounted file system? What are the pros and cons? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Right now when I make a change a scp the updates to all hosts which is time consuming and does not provide me with the consistency that I am looking for. Thanks. netapp.pl and time-interval for test's

Hi, Francesco et all ! Can i change the time-interval for the checks on "my" netapp filter .... ? .. the default in netapp.pl is e.g. stats show -n 1 -i $time -r $time=290 but 290 seconds are too long, because sometimes the next tests begin to run while the other test are not closed ... 290 seconds are near 5 minutes and in hobbitlaunch.cfg the netapp starts every 5 minutes again .. Unfortunatley my colleagues does additional other ssh-sessions with tests or commands and we reached the limits of max. sessions on the filter .... and we became timeouts or permission-denied .... So what could we do ? my first attempt was to change the interval in hobbitlaunch.cfg, but this dosn't work because the graphs/trends were not correctly anymore .... thanks & cheers Martin
