Tricky, because network interface names vary from one host to another. What you can do is to create a multi-graph definition in hobbitgraph.cfg that picks out the exact NIC graph you want. Copy the existing "ifstat" definition, and make a new "eth0-multi" graph where the FNPATTERN refers only to the interface graph you want - i.e. instead of the "ifstat.(.+).rrd" pattern you refer to the exact "ifstat.INTERFACE.rrd" file matching the name of your NIC. ntpdate question

Hi, before updating our hobbit server to version 4.2.0, I tested the ntp configuration with the bb-ntp-1_4.sh script on the client nodes. When I now configure the server to use the ntp network test instead, I realize that this doesn't work with most of our RedHat clients. I get the response ntpdate -u -q -p 2 a.b.c.d server a.b.c.d, stratum 0, offset 0.000000, delay 0.00000 29 Aug 10:53:26 ntpdate[3509]: no server suitable for synchronization found The network test works with all AIX clients and with older RedHat clients. The manual page of ntpdate on a RedHat machine says, that "the ntpdate program is to be retired from this distribution". Is there another way of testing the ntp synchronisation from the server side or do I still have to use the bb-ntp.sh script? Best wishes, Dirk Kastens

Problem with Links after doing a find host and on info column

I need to get some help with a very confusing issue. I have hobbit setup with around 1200 hosts and I have split my bb-hosts file off into multiple site hosts for easier management. But I am having a problem with one site. Some of the links that show up when I do a find hosts show up under another hub site. I tried stopping hobbit and went in and removed all data from all hosts and also removed the respective directories in the www directory and still have the same issue. disable some checkings

Hi! I install Hobbit client 4.2.0 client on two servers which is running Suse and Centos OS! I want to disable that it checks any filesa and maybe msgs for some servers! I tried bb 127.0.0.1 "drop host FILE" but it worked only until I restart Hobbit Server service! 'red' status not showing up in history

I have a test that's gone 'red' multiple times today. I know this because I've seen it in the website and alerts have been sent to me. Yet if I look in ~hobbit/data/hist, ~hobbit/data/histlogs, or use the hsitory CGIs in the web GUI, it shows that it hasn't been 'red' today, rather that it's been green for >2 days.
