Hi Henrik, Could it be possible to have a kind "--simulate" option to trimhistory, that would'nt delete files; that would only show what files would be deleted ? Olivier

Config Report

Hai All, Just been looking on Henriks' demo site and noticed the config report bit under one of the menus so I went looking to try and do the same. About the only thing I can find is the header and footer files in the web directory but I cant see anything else about how to get this (but I may be blind) Can someone tell me if this is possible or is this something cool Henrik has done :) Cheers folks Allan

After looking at this a little more, I realize that the NOPROPYELLOW statement is working (don't know about the bbgen --nopropyellow flag, though). I was fooled by the fact that the yellow alarms were appearing in the event-log display on the bb2 page (they were not appearing at the top of the bb2 page, and were not setting the background 'alarm color'). We have one non-critical test that is cluttering up our event-log display. I think I temperally fixed this by adding "tr -d '-' in the runclient.sh script so it parses . Question is the client thatson the hobbit server suppose to start when you start the main server? or do you need to do a runclient.sh start? Hi, i have still problems to get the newest version of hobbit server on HPUX 11.11 running. Since the server component is not running, i cant say something about the new client.. :( So it would be interesting to hear whether someone got 4.1.1 or the latest snapshot running and i would be grateful if you could take a look on this problem.. some additional details are included within my last email on 26.07.. The error appears once a minute within bb-display.log: "hobbitd status-board not available" The "hobbitd" task dies with signal 6 once a minute as well, leaving a core file. bbtest-net to hobbitd problem

Wrong permissions on bb.html

I built a new hobbit server, running 4.1.1, on Mandriva 2005. bb.html, bb2.html, and bbnk.html show up with permissions of 600. Apache refuses to read the files.... Hi, On Solaris running /usr/ucb/ps wwax will give different length output when running as "root" rather than "bb" or "hobbit". To parse long java proc names you might need a sudo wrapper or similar.
