client data wont report to 2nd server

Hi all, I am trying to add a 2nd server to have the clients report to. I edited hobbitclient.cfg to be as such: BBDISP="0.0.0.0" # IP address of the Hobbit server BBDISPLAYS="192.168.1.1 192.168.1.2" # IP of multiple Hobbit servers. BBDISP must be "0.0.0.0". the first server gets all the client data but the 2nd server only gets the data from the tests in the "ext" directory....the stuff called out in clientlaunch.cfg. Things like disk, memory, cpu, etc never get to the 2nd server. dns question

My hobbit server is pounding our dns servers with thousands of requests even though every host in bb-hosts is also in the /etc/hosts file. Anyone seen this? I have removed any dns entries from the /etc/resolv.cof file and edited the /etc/nsswitch.conf file to only look at the hosts file for lookups. I am still seeing hundreds of lookup per minuet.. excludes for hobbitperl-graph.pl ?!

Hi ! Does anybody else use hobbitperl-graph.pl ? http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=173266&package_id=208… rather the hole package ? http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=173266 I've found not really a lot about that in the archive exept the announcement by Francesco and my onwn request and one or two more ..... Anyway, i look for a solution to define some excludes of trends which shouldn't display for every host or maybe also for special hosts on the trend2-page .. Maybe something is wrong in my configuration, but i've got every possible and not possible graph in the trend2-page for each host .... and that's not looking good for me .. Thanks & Cheers Martin

Dell Openmanage RAID check for windows ?

There's a very good extension in deadcat for *nix systems, however the windows counterpart (openmanage.cmd) is old and doesn't work with newer revisions of OMSA (at least 5x). I recently discovered a system that had a disk fail however the old script did not detect the condition. It used to be that a check on the controller would detect problems with the array, however today you need to do separate checks. Trying to rewrite it, I'd figure I ask if anyone has made a new one and/or ported the *nix version (bb-omsa-raid.sh). TIA. -- °(((=((===°°°(((===========================================

This is almost what I am looking for. I was able to add in a line to this file under reports....(code snip) ... ['Reports', null, null, ... ['Mgmt Server', 'https://url here'] ], ... And clicking on this link takes me to the new URL. Does anyone know if I can have it pop up into a new window, as opposed to using the hobbit window? Hello, I've a problem with reporting. I explain : I want to make a report with all my hosts testing disks in a table like this : Host 1 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted Summary(Total\Avail) XXXX xxxx xxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx XXXX xxxx xxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx Host 2 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted Summary(Total\Avail) XXXX xxxx xxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx XXXX xxxx xxx xxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxx But I don't know how can i do! I don't know how can i get differents disk's informations. I want just to get informations, then format is simple. I tested bb-gen but i've got this error : " No BBACKS! Hi, I tried to install hobbit server on a centos5.1 host. I installed gcc gcc-c++ pcre-devel libpng-devel openssl-devel openldap-devel rrdtool-devel and asked for ssl check when running hobbit's configure. This produced the following line in Makefile # OpenSSL settings SSLFLAGS = -DBBGEN_SSL SSLINCDIR = -I/usr/include SSLLIBS = -L/usr/lib -lssl -lcrypto RPATHVAL += /usr/lib but after the make, make install process the following command # su - hobbit # ./server/bin/bbtest-net --version bbtest-net version 4.2.0 show ssl support is not provided by hobbit. Even when i put SSLINCDIR = -I/usr/include/openssl in the Makefile hobbit still not support ssl.
