Hi guys, I have the hobbit page up and running but when i click on disk for example, which takes me to http://hobbit.metsi.com/hobbit-cgi/bb-hostsvc.sh?HOST=hobbit.metsi.com&S ERVICE=bbd i get an http 404 error. strange problem with hobbitping

Hi, i've seen than some host (in my network) has 60 msec of ping, other 0.15 msec.. If i ping/fping/hobbitping manually i've the correct time but in hobbit the graph display 60 msec. I've channged hobbitping with fping in hobbitserver.cfg and the showed value is correct: 0.15 msec.. Non-green view for pages

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to setup a bb2.html equivalent for specific groups of servers - for instance, a "all non green UNIX servers" page and a "all non-green windows servers" page. We already split our clients into unix and windows pages, but bb2.html only seems to work for all clients, irrespective of group. Best regards, Chris. Hi All, Can any some one tell me how to configure the hobbit client on hp-ux that can be found on http://www.razorsedge.org/~mike/software/hobbit/hpux/ ? I've installed the package on the client and what next? I don't get any data in my hobbit display server from the hp-ux client? What are the steps to get this done? Where can i find a hobbit client for HP-UX 11.23 because the package on http://www.razorsedge.org/~mike/software/hobbit/hpux/ won't install op hp-ux 11.23 Many thanks... Kind regards, DNS

Hi All, Can any of the expert tell me how to reports/create/graph total uptime of all monitor hobbit-client? I've implement sla-nal (v 0.91) perl script from deadcat.net, but can not figured out how this is calculated 'cause the total percentage seems not to be correct... Help please Kind regards, DNS

Hi, if an sslcert is close to expiration date - am I advised in advance? How many days in advance resp. where is this configured? Or do I need a custom script to get this? Tricky bug in Purple status determination

Hi, Recently we found a weird problem in history of one monitoring, there were a lot of purple status, and the duration was "none" or 1second. The thing we were monitoring was running fine, and this problem was there since we used Hobbit (more than half a year), so it rules out possibility of error in that thing. This monitoring is a script defined in hobbitlaunch.cfg on Hobbit server, runs every 30m I checked log, the purple status was updated by hobbitd, and then I checked source code of hobbitd, found it checked purple status every 30m (correct me if I'm wrong since I only know a little of C), so I guess due to some program issues, there were some milliseconds differences bettwen hobbitd's determination and script's update, that results in very short duration of purple status. So after I changed interval to 25m, that weird problem is gone. Thanks, Samuel Cai

File Size on logs.

Is there a limitation to the filesize that log monitoring can peruse? I'm receiveing the below error message on a file that is 4.5gb in hobbit 4.2.0.
