Column for BBWIN CLIENT

Hi, We have a hobbit server linux and windows client, I can see the default column (cpu, mem, disk, ..) of windows client in the hobbit server I need to make external scripts in the Windows client but I am not clear as to see the columns on the hobbit server I try to use as a guide in the script that comes BBWIN fsmon agent, gives no error message in logs bbwin, but does not display a column in the hobbit server. Please your help the basic steps that should be performed to visualize the output of a external script in the Windows client to a server hobbit. Thanks.

Problems running on a Solaris Zone

Has anyone see this problem. I've just compiled 4.3.0.0.beta2 on a Solaris 10 system. I'm running on a Sun T5120 series in a Solaris sparse zone. When I run the server, I get the following on the memory test. Fyi.. I don't have 4.2 peta bytes of memory :-) Has anyone seen similar problems. Running the client in the global zone works fine. weblogic specific checks

Anyone here done any Weblogic specific checks they are willing to share ? would be interesting to monitor the jvm / application state and or version active / jms persistent store status / memory usage ? preferably to be able to map it to application, jms server or other resources I created a groovy script that fetches jms queue information via jmx. ( MessageCurrent / Received / Bytes ) it calls bb and sends it's results. ( it's a bit ugly right now will clean it up and share it later ) Best Regards, Steinar M.

DISK & MEMORY checks go red

Hi, I am running xymon 4-3-0-beta2 ( revision 6223 ). I am having problems with clients ( all running in dmz mode using msgcache ) where they sometimes show alert for disk and memory, and usually check shows usage as several hundred % which is obviously due to some error in the check. I have not found out why this happens. Anyone else with similar problems ? and maybe found a solution or a workaround ? Best Regards, Steinar M.

I found that in bb-hosts you can not indent "include" lines. IE the lines can't start with white space. bug (?) in xymon 4.3.0-0.beta2

Hi, I switched my xymon server to 4.3.0-0.beta2 last week, and since this change I can see a buggy behaviour; Sometimes, I see in historical some green->red->green changes. When I click on the red button (URL is like : https://xymon_server/xymon-cgi/bb-histlog.sh?HOST=host&SERVICE=procs&TIMEBU…) , my webserver gives me the following error : "Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log." In the apache2 logs, I got the following error : "Premature end of script headers: bb-histlog.sh..." In dmesg, i've the following : "hobbitsvc.cgi[5715] general protection ip:7f76dbcde588 sp:7fffe4602980 error:0 in libc-2.7.so[7f76dbc69000+14a000]" I think it should be a bug, isn't it ?

HHTPS test through a HTTP proxy

I'm trying to monitor a HTTPS URL through a HTTP proxy with this in my bb-hosts : http://xx.xx.xx.xx:80/https://www.host.com <http://xx.xx.xx.xx/https:/www.host.com> I am getting error that server : Squi not implemented. Please help me how to resolve the same. Regards, -Arun
