BUG: LOG ignores not working in 4.3.4

Hi. Yesterday I updated our Xymon server from 4.3.3 to 4.3.4. Now I have noticed that the LOG test ignores that we have added in analysis.cfg no longer work. No lines seem to be ignored anymore. /Johan

Trends page bug

Hi. I noticed a bug in the Trends page in 4.3.4 (possibly earlier as well). If I press any of the buttons to change the time period for which to show graphs (or manually enter a custom period), the short name of the host is used (as specified with NAME: in hosts.cfg), giving me a "No such host" error. I can see in the address bar that the hostname is changed from FQDN to the short name, and it works if I manually enter the full name. /Johan

PCI Compliance

Has anyone done any work on PCI DSS compliance (for companies that take & store credit card details)? If so, have you found an internal PCI Compliance Checker that can be integrated into Xymon, providing red/green status? Alternatively, does anyone have any WMI scripts that pass their output to Xymon that I could hack around? Can't get data to appear on status page

It's like the rest of the data got truncated. The host is red hat. I am using the client from xymon 4.3.4. It seems like when I send the data using the xymon client, I'm actually sending it one line at a time...which might explain why only the first line goes through. Is there a right way to do this? Is there something else that I'm missing? -dan

problem with SVC in client_config.c maybe?

Hi all, There's definitely a problem and I think it's in client_config.c but not sure how to fix it. Xymon 4.3.4 server, using BBWin 0.12 in central mode to monitor Windows services, I have in analysis.cfg: HOST=%.*-ni[1-3] SVC NetWitness_Informer_Service startup=automatic status=started color=yellow On the webpage I get: Fri Sep 02 13:24:54 2011 - Services OK NetWitness_Informer_Service is stopped/automatic - want started/automatic Name StartupType Status DisplayName NetWitness_Informer_Service automatic started NetWitness Informer Service The problem is stopped/automatic, should be started/automatic and I think it's in the case C_SVC: block around line 3419 in client_config.c Anyone know how to fix it? TS - Problem ignoring 'mem' from Quest Windows Client 4.00

Team, I am at a loss. I am running Xymon 4.3.0-0.beta2 on a Dell R-610 running CentOS 5.x. I have a pair of them. We have multiple virtual Exchange servers on Win2003 server. All are reporting 'mem' problems up to 104%. We currently use the Quest BB 4.00 Windows client as I converted the main server from BB to Xymon over 2 years ago. This was the best plan for the conversion as our Windows admins already were acquainted with the GUI setup. Since we pay for maintenance from Quest on the client, I opened a case with them but cannot tell them that the server is Xymon. Currently we want to stop the client from monitoring the 'mem'. The GUI says to set the value above 100% for the alerts. The GUI will not let you set the values above 100 and 100 for yellow and red respectively. P.S. This does work for disk drives though. Quest says to add this parameter to the bb-host file of 'nomem' - this does not seem to do anything. The also want to change the bbwarnrules to: *;;*;*;mail at mail.com Not sure what this is accomplishing? I still need alerting for all the other items from the current client. Disabling the test, is not the answer as it bounces up and down all day long.
