xymon compiling issues on Mac OSX 10.6 (darwin)

Henrik, I was having problems compiling xymon on OSX 10.6 until I ran across this old post on xymon developer list. http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=26609049 The 2 patches for Makefile proposed by the original poster fixed the compile issues and I implemented the 3rd patch as well. Have you given any thought to merging these changes back into the trunk? Thanks,

Hi! regarding http://lists.xymon.com/pipermail/xymon/2011-July/032087.html both: - export LIBRTDEF=-lrt - locator.o in lib/Makefile Seem not being fixed in 4.3.7 or is fixed in another version? With those fixes I can build the client. kind regards, Marten

Logged events

I've done something and now xymon always reports no events logged on the "all none green" page , even though tests are failing and recovering as recently as a few minute ago. This might have started on the day I ran my first trimhistory command, but can't be sure about that. I can still see the history of events in /var/lib/xymon/histlogs Any suggestions on how I might troubleshoot this issue?

Displaying thresholds for a group of hosts

Hi all, I'm looking for ideas on a more detailed view of a hosts thresholds other than from confreport.cgi. I'm being asked to provide threshold information for each host on a given page and right now it's all manual. I don't think I'm missing anything in the man pages. Anyone doing something similar? Yellow->red escalation, bug or feature?

Thinking about this again (since xymon woke everyone up again this morning) I'm liking the idea of a RECOVERY= flag. Seems like there are two kinds of alerts, those where yellow-> red->yellow means things are not so bad (like disk space, which is the one I keep hitting) and those where yellow->red->yellow means you are looking at a larger performance problem (like, say, CPU load or other performance metrics). Being able to treat those two situations separately would be the biggest win. thanks Betsy

BBWin Charts on XYMON

Hello, I'm using BBWin 0.12 on my Windows Servers that communicate with a XYMON 4.3.0.0 beta2 server, and generally, it's working fine. But recently, I installed BBWin on new machines . All is working fine except that I can't get CPU a Memory RRD charts.
