There's probably a better solution to this problem. Hi, My boss didn't like the subject line of the default email alerts and he asked me to change it. I found a script online that does it -- so I modified the script and the subject line is doing what is expected but the body of the email is displaying some text that I would like not to be displayed. How can I remove the " red [965282] red  Wed Oct 1 10:46:24 2014 conn NOT ok Service conn on xxxxxxx.corp.local is not OK : Host does not respond to ping System unreachable for 20 poll periods (5386 seconds) &red 5.5.5.5 is unreachable ################################################### Is there anyway to remove that? SNMP roadmap

Hi All, I installed devmon and tried it and it really isn't what I am after, there aren't enough templates and I don't have enough time to build templates for everything I have, it also has no SNMP v3 support which I will need eventually. I found some threads that talk about integrating MRTG Graphs into Xymon but there isn't any clear instructions on how this works, there are also lots of references to a script called bbmrtg.pl that apparently allows you to alert on the MRTG data as well but I can't find this script anywhere. What is the roadmap for SNMP in xymon? Will this eventually be built into xymon in some way? Or are there any other alternatives out there that I can easily integrate into xymon. Brandon Dale
